My progress hasn't been as smooth as I would have liked. My boyfriend's mom died in early April and that totally threw off all routines and I'm just getting back into it now. I was still losing weight from eating well and (somewhat) from stress. But I plan on accelerating that with starting up My Fitness Coach again.
Apart from that, I've been getting exercise from the garden we put in this year. It's REALLY exciting to watch things grow and know that I did that :D. We've also been doing some improvements to the house. I'm glad to see all this exercise stuff has paid off with stamina as well as losing weight.
My total weight loss so far from January is 35lbs. I'm halfway there!
What's happening with all of you?
I just thought I would stop on by to admit that I suck haha After 5 weeks of vacation and 2 weeks of being sick, during which none of that I exercised or ate healthy I am going back to attempting to be healthy. Ive been putting it off because well...Im still sick and being sick while trying to eat right and exercise is ass. But since its going forever I was kinda getting worried and not at all pleased with myself for all the crap Ive been eating (sooo much pizza and ice cream and cookies and chips etc.) So today I finally got off my ass and got my wii fit out and decided to see whats been going on. I weighed myself two weeks ago when I was done my vacation. The 4 weeks in Costa Rica lead to 3 whole pounds gained and then a week back in my home town caused me to gain 5 more.
Today I weighed myself to see where I was expecting to be around 215 pounds but I was only 205! Finding out I didnt have as far to go to get back to where I was totally improved my outlook on this and Its going to be nice to get back at it. I has actually lost a pound since I got back to town. I cant explain it because Ive spent my time in bed watching tv and eating junk food being miserable because ive been sick.
So yeah....Im heading back into healthyland! yay me haha
I know intellectually that having lost 18lbs in 2.5 months is doing pretty good. And realistically, it won't be that long before I will be 199lbs. But I want it now!
In a less needy note, I was sick with the flu for about a week and it's taken me awhile to recover my lung capacity but I'm back in the swing of things and still enjoying My Fitness Coach and Wii Fit so yay! Also yay is that I am sticking to the ole routine. Even when I was sick, I do the body test and a couple balance games. I would love for the weather to warm up and start melting so I can go outside but that will come soon.
How is everyone else doing? Still keeping on track?
I had to adjust my watch band today to close it on a tighter fit. Go me!
I was doing great...and still kiiinda am haha Ive stuck to everything but the weight loss is slowing down. But Im sticking to it and its still slowly coming off. Im leavin for Costa Rica in ten days for almost a month so Im workin my ass off to try and get to below 200 pounds before I leave. Im at 204ish now so hopefully I can do it. Seems the days of losing a pound a day are over and now its like a quarter pound a day. Not as exciting or consistant but its something!
p.s. today wii fit tells me im no longer obese! im just overweight! woo!
